Arrogant Frog Viog

What white wines for June? Anything beginning with “V”

Try Sainsbury’s Arrogant Frog Viognier 13% by Jean Claude Mas lily pad white worth the asking price or buy on bargain (stock up)

Generous helping of nectarine and cream, cotswold stone, pineapple, celery, grated carrot and hints of orange blossom this will have you sighing with no regrets

Suggested food pairings onclude any dessert, fresh air, fish salad or turkey with spinach & pesto

Very enjoyable

I also tried the Verdicchio in the same range – this works brilliantly by freezing the second half bottle overnight then leave in your fridge door, the ice really brings this over dry white to life the second day! Serve with 🍓🍓🍓

You might next try Vermentino or Vouvray or the Ventoux blanc, all ravishing wines with happiness and strawberries! 😇🥰😋

🥂 Cheers!! 🥂
