Terrific Summer Pale Ales

Ok, it’s time to fill the fridge! I’m reviewing 5 pale ales with further mention of another 3 so let’s crack on, pour y’self an ale! 🍻🍻

Here’s the list! St Austell Big Job 7.2% Adnams Double Ghost 5.2% Badger Iron Hart 5.2% and Golden Champion 4.5% Citra 4.6% and a special mention for Hook Norton Haymaker 5% Lidl Golden ale 4.1% and Proper Job 5.5%

Let’s start with Citra from Oakham πŸ‹πŸΊ

And the mighty Big Job 7.2% πŸ†πŸΊ

Now a new beer on the block 5.2% Badger Iron Hart built like a steamship πŸ¦ŒπŸΊβš”

I’m intrigued by Adnams mighty Double Ghost, great texture, serious rye notes but apt to lose its sparkle quickly leaving a dull heavy beer πŸ‘»

So! Cruisin’ on with the boozin’ to Badger 4.5% Golden Champion, a real winner, all smiling sunshine, honey, chamomile and elderflower, simply enchanting! πŸ΅πŸΊπŸŒΌπŸ†

All glorious with fish n chips or curry, tho why you eat curry in summer I do not know 🍺🌞

So to conclue and my podium list but yours will differ, grab all 8 bottles and see what you reckon, you’re in for a treat all round!

Rock on!! 🍻🍻🍻🍻

Cheers! πŸ˜‹
