Chess: My Immortal Game

Once in a while you play a game that is special! I call this miniature my Immortal Game!!

I was a pawn up here

Play so far

1. f4   d5,   2. d4   Nc6,   3. Nf3   Bg4,   4. e3   e6,

5. Be2   Bd6,   6. 0-0   Nge7,   7. c4   Nf5,

8. Nc3   0-0,   9. c×d   e×d,   10. Nd5   Re8,

11. Ne5   Be2,   12. Qe2   ..

Okay so I am a pawn to the good but now it all breaks out in a rash!! With black answering pawn to f6 on move 12! Suddenly the game gets interesting!!

I intuitively place my queen 13. Qc4 to emphasize the threat of double check on black’s king

Black retaliated with .. Na5 attacking my queen!

And the game continued

14. Nf6++ double check

Now if Kf8 then I play Qf7# checkmate and if Kh8 then I have Nf7# checkmate in 15 moves!

Actually I would play 15. Qg8+   Rg8   16. Nf7#

Bcos why not get a quick flamboyant queen sacrifice in where you can?

Further computer analysis on f pawn takes knight, bishop takes knight and knight takes knight leave me in a strong position

Well, I rarely enjoy a game this exciting!! ♟👑

I will write a second article on a similar game with a remarkable central pawn citadel structure and include some chess puzzles!

Thanks for looking in ☺
