Build a Pizza from base

Good evening and welcome! 😇🍕🧀🍅🥓 You’ve got home and want to cook but something simple yet artistic to feel 🥰 love for food — tonight let’s talk thru Sourdough base with 2 cheese, tomato, mushroom, bacon, olives, herbs

I’ve bought a base prodotto in Italia with love and kissed by fire, topped with pomodoro sauce — non per tutti, not for everyone, this from fresh from Italy 🇮🇹 🐆 leopard spotted crust with respect,  with care

I’m adding Double Gloucester cheese grated and mozzarella from a wet ball sliced as fine as, with italian style herbs, pop that in the oven gas 7 while I lightly fry bacon pieces in a spot of lard on high heat

Ok out the oven after a few short minutes! Ready to build the legend ok! 🍕🏆

Ingredients in order, keep the oven hot, handle everything with respect, care, love ❤

Ok in the oven gas 7 middle shelf no tray, turn after 4 mins, keep watch, that crust is a devil if too baked ok? 👀🍕 It’s a real trick to get this exactly right, it’s like making a baby, add lots of passion

Here’s the base for reference, I paid £2.50

Now check the oven, switch gas off, give it 30-60 seconds to settle and be awfully careful, everything wants a slice of your skin 🔥 HOT

Plate ready and oven gloves to glide the pizza onto your plate and again, let settle for 2-3 mins, pour a drink 🍸 take photos, don’t rush in, be an eagle not a gannet here

Well this is looking all right! And it was a creative process but fast and satisfyingly simple like good sex or piano music, you know, APPASSIONATI ❤💛

😙

So hopefully you can see 👀 how incredibly creative and easy this was and of course add your own fave ingredients — next up is my ocean in motion pizza

🍕 🐟 🦐 🍅🍌

Give it a go!

I’m on Sainsbury dry cider 4.5% but ideal here would be a Puglia red wine or Valpolicella and a sassy partner 🥰 all that 💋

Yeah nice, excellent evening!

I like to eat 2/5 cold next day — Prosecco would work wonders 🥂

🤤
