Brewery Spotlight Hook Norton

โ™  Hello and welcome to Brewery Spotlight Hook Norton one of Britain’s older traditional tower breweries since 1849 the Head Brewer is JW Clarke great great grandson of Jim Harris founder! A regular pilgrimage for myself since the early 1990s and an interlayering of top old favourites to new wave beers containg oats and maize or even rye! ๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒพ

The traditional ingredients of ale are water malted barley, hops and ale yeast, the colour varies from pale straw thru orange, red, warm brown, copper, plum to black

Let me introduce you to a grand Premium Pale Ale I have been enjoying chilled from bottle for over 20 years and here I state my case as to why I feel this ale still holds its own in a vast world of British beer ๐Ÿบย  see what you think .. ๐Ÿค”

Be sure to visit the Victorian tower brewery set deep in the heart of the Cotswolds for yourself and read its history at

Here’s the brewery, here the beer ๐Ÿบ

Hope you are convinced to make the pilgrimage yourself! Here are the shire horses and brewery dray ๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒพ Keeping Britain British!!

Here’s a bonus extra, Red Rye 4.7% and what I’m drinking this winter and why beer pairs better with British food than foreign wine

Where Progress Is Measured In Pints ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ

You can say what you like about the British in Britain but they know their food, they know their beer and the two pair better than anything else ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ

Cheers!! To twenty years in beers ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ˜„

Pour yourself something chilled and enjoy a light giggle with my new Home Pub series = the Card Game (5 drunks in a corner) ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ˜…
